Apple Crumble

Ingredients
6 large granny smith apples - peeled, cored and sliced
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup coconut
1 cup self raising flour
50g softened butter (not melted)

 

Method
Cook apples in a saucepan with a splash of water and simmer on stove until just cooked.
Place cooked apples into a large baking dish 
Mix sugar, coconut and self raising flour in a bowl and add butter. 
Crumble butter with fingertips to form coarse crumbs.  
Spoon this mixture over apples.
 
Bake in oven for approx. 20 minutes (check after 15 to make sure top does not burn)
