Apple Crumble
- Ingredients
- 6 large granny smith apples - peeled, cored and
sliced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup self raising flour
- 50g softened butter (not melted)
- Method
- Cook apples in a saucepan with a splash of
water and simmer on stove until just cooked.
- Place cooked apples into a large baking
dish
- Mix sugar, coconut and self raising flour in a
bowl and add butter.
- Crumble butter with fingertips to form coarse
crumbs.
- Spoon this mixture over apples.

- Bake in oven for approx. 20 minutes (check
after 15 to make sure top does not burn)
